Today I'm starting Round 2 of P90X. I'm pretty excited for it...Joyful's doing it with me this time, so it'll be great to have her along my side.
For Round 2, I'm trying really hard to focus on the nutrition aspect of P90X...that was an area I felt I was really bad at last time (as you can read in previous posts). I think it'll really help me that we're going through this together. We can help keep eachother accountable for our eating habits (okay, Joyful can keep me accountable...). For what it's worth, I felt like I did well today with my eating. We made up little cards with what we're allowed each day...I'm on a 2400 calories a day plan, high protein low carbs...it seems doable, it's just hard to eat while I'm at work, which sucks...plus people bring doughnuts there a decent amount, which also sucks.
We did our fit test last night, and I had regressed a little bit since finishing P90X a little over a month ago, but I was happy that I could still do 3 pull-ups and 35 push-ups...I'm really looking forward to seeing results this time around with being strict with my nutrition. I lost 20 pounds last time and I didn't do that great with the food...I'm hopeful that I'll really like what I see in the mirror when I get done this time around :)
Thanks so much for following along. I'll do my best to post every day...for those who followed last time, you know I grow weary of posting stuff that seems redundant to me...so I'll try my best.
