So I needed to take the last 2 days off from working out. I had my weird groin thing going on, and then I got sick on top of it. Not pukey sick, just a nasty cold. I'm usually not too wussy about having a cold, but my horrible cough made my throat kill me, and my sinuses were all jacked up, and I felt weak. I ended up going to bed early while Joyful did her workouts...I kinda felt like a wuss/loser, but I also felt like crap...so I slept.
I wouldn't say I felt 100% today, but I felt well enough to try to workout. It was Back and Biceps with Ab Ripper X. I made it through Back and Biceps just fine, and felt good about myself...a couple little coughing fits, but nothing terrible. I can't say the same for Ab Ripper. Something about the ab exercises made my breathing strained, which made my throat hurt, which made me cough...a lot...so I gave up because I just couldn't do it without coughing the entire time. Mercifully my groinal area never hurt me during the workout. I thought it would, as it's still swollen, but it felt OK, so that was nice.
It was such a beautiful day today, we took Isaiah out for a nice long walk to put him to sleep tonight...that was super nice...plus, you know...physical activity's always good :)
